I have an elliptical machine, treadmill. Band is much more difficult to do, but definitely burns more calories. it depends machines Crosstrainers burn more calories, but my body is evidence to the contrary.

elliptical burns more than I noticed, but you must have patience and not just lying around, I see some Gymer. I like the layout of the machines every 20 minutes or something. Back rowers actually works and the stepper motor is a murderer! I ride my bicycle or treadmill to warm up.
